Michael PollanMichael Pollan is the author of In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto, winner of the James Beard Award; Food Rules: An Eater’s Manual; and The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals, which was named one of the 10 best books of the year by the New York Times. He is also the author of The Botany of Desire: A Plant’s-Eye View of the World; A Place of My Own; and Second Nature. He has appeared in Food Inc., King Corn, and a number of other documentary films.
