Conscious Eating Film Series at Humboldt State Library

Humboldt State UniversityHumboldt State Library hosted a Conscious Eating Video Screening & Discussion Series, inviting students, faculty, staff, and community members to open a conversation about food issues in Humboldt County. The series included Nourish and other food films.

Following the Nourish screening, Mira Friedman, a Health Educator from HSU Health Center, made opening remarks about conscious eating issues and facilitated a lively audience discussion.

Participants also met the authors of the book Plenty: Eating Locally on the 100-Mile Diet, which highlights campus and community interest in sustainability and local food production.
