With her mother, Anna co-authored Hope’s Edge: The Next Diet for a Small Planet, and founded the Small Planet Institute, a collaborative network for research and popular education, and the Small Planet Fund, which has given away nearly half a million dollars to democratic social movements worldwide.

In Diet for a Hot Planet, she illuminates the connections between climate change and our global food system. Visiting farms around the world–from China to Mali to her hometown of Brooklyn–she paints a picture of the global sustainable agriculture movement, and provides ideas on how we can take part through climate-friendly food choices.
